Matty is 30 years old!

When I was younger I nicknamed my brother doodie. One year I went to get a silly cake for his birthday but the guy who made the cakes barely spoke any english. It was such a challenge trying to explain that I wanted a big poop on a cake!

James was able to get us studio space at pier 59!

 Matt's family is staying with us this weekend ( his 30th bday is on Monday!)

They brought bags full of fun and cats!

lots of blankets + hot chocolate + floor + sillyness + twin peaks 

= best movie night ever!

If I ate meat this would be my favorite restaurant. Their walls have giant photographs, fantastic chandeliers that looks like bubbles,

 walls with mirrors and ballerina bars

and the funnest chef ever!

moo likes to sit on plants and use them as chairs.

I photographed the nyc marathon on bedford ave. It made me so happy to see everyone cheering, handing out food and supporting each other. I wish people were this friendly every day. Why do we need there to be a giant event to be nice to each other?

we found out today that grandma has pancreatic cancer. Although my pop is very upset, he was there making everyone laugh

me and matty surprised david at school...

and asked for his help to find us a halloween costume.

tons of my family came from the bronx to trick or treat with us. Me and matty decided we were gonna try to get some candy even though we're a bit too old. Of course I had no problem because I look like I'm 14 but when Matty tried, the woman giving out candy looked him up and down and said "wait a minute.... you're getting an almond joy". Almond joys are for old people!! so matty quit after his first try ;)

My pops has been trying to stay upbeat for everyone but I know he's feeling terrible. He's such a good guy..

Do you love getting communion? Did you spend your catholic school days planning to steal boxes of the body of christ so that you can later eat them like potato chips? me too! Well, these candies are way better. They are like two of those waffers you get in communion sealed together with sprinkles in the middle. Is there anything better than that!?

This place has a wall that they repaint everyday!

Tuesday

Matty came home with an Antoni Lucero drawing! He saw the little boys on his way to improv class. If you look closely they doubled their price but the crashing economy has taken a toll on them too. Sadly they had to lower it back to a dollar.

I spent the night raiding my cabinets to find round objects. I'm making a whole bunch of thought bubbles to put around the city. Some will have words and some will have images.

Cereal for dinner is my favorite! can ya tell?

I'm making a book for my family! I realized that my pop and stepmother have no family albums. Everything is digital so all their pictures are on the computer and that's no fun! So I'm making them an adventure book filled with our photos and fun stories that my 5 year old brother can read before he goes to bed
