i still am trying to break myself of the habit of deleting out-of-focus shots. sometimes, when i see them on the computer nice and big, i see their beauty. thank you for the reminder.
Oh, I am having so much fun here! What a lovely blog! I am glad to have made my way here! And these are wonderful pictures- I like the top one- something magical about the look on her face, as if she is a dreaming of a long-ago lover... :)
agreed! i also secretly love pictures where i cut people's heads off (not literal cutting off obviously- that would probably indicate a serious problem. i'm talking frame-wise.) my mom always gets super annoyed but sometimes they turn out to be my favorite pictures.
I have stumbleupon, and I hit the little "thumbsup" on my taskbar so that other people may stumbleupon this magical world of yours. I encourage others to do the same. :)
Those are so beautiful. How do you get that effect? I love photographs where certain portions are in such sharp relief while portions are blurry, almost like halos, but never know how to achieve them. You are very creative.
Love the photos, and I agree! What created the bluish halos in the 2nd portrait?
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you!! I love magical blur!!
ReplyDeleteme too! my new favorite thing is sun spots and the perfect blurry photo/portrait.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The bluish halos in the 2nd portrait are from our wine glasses =)
ReplyDeleteI love magical blur, lovely and magic photos :)
ReplyDeleteThat second shot is gorgeous! I love the perspective that comes with the blurs - it's like you're being slightly nudged to share in a secret :)
