Every morning Moo knocks on the door to wake us up. I had no idea that he doubled as an alarm clock. This morning I set him for 6:55. He was right on time.
such a sweetie! i woke up by my cat today too, he fell out of the bed and i woke up by the sound of him hitting the floor and there he sat, looking surprised.
My kitty is a knocking cat, too. She knocks on the door to get in or out depending on which side she's on. She also taps me on the shoulder each morning to say - Hey! I'd like some food now, Thank you!
oh moo!! little mo lets me sleep until I wake up now, but for years she wouldn't be so polite... our bed used to be by the window in our old place and she'd lift the blind up so the sun would hit us right in the face!
my kitty likes to knock on my door in the middle of the night so he can come in and sleep in my bed. i wish he would do it when i needed to wake up instead!
So adorable! My kitty Pearl does the same thing, too! She also likes to scamper down our long hallway every morning at 4:55 just to remind us that the time to get up is coming in a few hours.
Hi there, I'm a 3rd grade teacher out in Washington state who loves your blog. I know it's not much, but we just awarded your site the One Lovely Blog award! http://mshoughtonsclass.wordpress.com/2009/06/25/one-lovely-blog-award/ Thanks for being such an inspiration! Cheers, Shannon (Ms. Houghton)
Very cute! I need to find the 'set button' on my moggie, she seems to be set for 5.30am, which is a little on the early side. I do love not having to set an alarm clock!
This busted me up. I've seen this from the rear before, but the front is hilarious, and it made me think of my dear departed Dad who used to irritate us on Sat mornings banging the hollow-core door with the flat of his hand yelling 'Rise and Shine!' Yeah. Moo's certainly more charming about it. Brilliant, thinking of re-setting him. You, you're good. I found you off of the Happiness Project site and was more charmed the more I scrolled down. As an daily ground down artist at heart, you have inspried me. I'm 57, have been a graphic designer, and doing a project- garden with drought tolerant plants tha make good bouquets and look fab in the yard.
such a sweetie!

one of our cats paws at my dresser, making a squeaking sound with her little paw pads. unfortunately, this sometimes begins around 5:15.
