To make the shapes just take some black paper, cut a shape in the middle of it and then put it over your lens. You have to purposely shoot out of focus to see the lights change shape and I think it works better when you have a lens with a wide aperture. I shot these with my 85mm 1.2 =)
I'm french (sorry for my english) Just wanted to say that I Looooooooooooooove Ur blog it's amazing everytime, and just a question, What kind of camera do U have?
Awww I {heart} beautiful Bokeh photography and I {heart} Christmas! What a spectacular tree! Where's your tree and Christmas decorations? I'd love to see them!
I did that here! I had troubles in the beginning because my lens doesn't have a wide aperture (only f/5.6) =( But I cut the heart shape really really small, so it could 'cover' the light dot. It worked (not so great, though): http://tinyurl.com/xmaslight http://tinyurl.com/ycqj8j5
