I've had a very stressful week so I decided that I would relax this morning and read a bit.
But when I opened up my magazine, tons of paper birds started flying out!
They've been flying around my kitchen
and my bedroom all day.
I think they're quite lovely...
but they keep messing with my doo!
they look like a nuisance! but they're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLol! I would be giggling with all the pecking. I love it...
ReplyDeleteI love the birds. You are so creative Katie! Wish I had some on my walls.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Fantastic ideas! I love your creativity.
ReplyDeletep.s. My friend used to run this blog with someone else. The paper crafts she features made me think it might be something you'd be interested in, or could be inspired by just as much as I was: http://bit.ly/b5NNZ5

Thanks so much for all of your sweet comments! To make the birds I googled "bird silhouettes". I then printed out some shapes, cut them and used them as stencils to trace onto magazine pages and cut them out!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! It reminds me of a less terrifying version of Hitchcock's movie. (But Melanie Daniels is a fun Halloween costume...I would know!)

ReplyDeleteHi Katie! These birds are lovely, and so much lower budget than the pricey wall decals out there! Do you think you'd be willing to put up a printable version of the different bird shapes so that other people can do their own? (you could even do that and ask people to send in their resulting projects!)
ReplyDeleteJust a thought :)
Hahaha you are amazing :)
