Wow! How quaint! I especially like the last one. I do love your photos! They're really amazing! Great work! Wonder how you get such inspirations for your art... <3
These pictures are extremely clever and happy! I'd love to make some kind of lesson with my elementary art students inspired by your work. I'll definitely credit you and show them your stuff and you too, whatever they may create :D Have a great week!!!
I commented yesterday about how I was amused that I'm not the only one whose living space is infiltrated by craft materials!! It was really somewhat touching when I saw your picture working on your thought bubbles. I wrote about it in my blog. Just thought you'd like to know: http://the-art-department.blogspot.com/2010/05/color-me-kismet.html

ReplyDelete@Just me- These are all people from my pictures! For example, the people in the first picture is the couple from this photo-
ReplyDeletehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/katesokoler/4357543759/in/set-72157621190753548/
I just paint the background white in photoshop, then I select the people and paint them black. I print them out and then just cut out the shapes!
This is what they look like on the sheet of paper before I cut them out-
