Young and Old

8 year old Matty
30 year old Matty!

It's so much fun re-creating old photos and seeing how much you and your environment has changed.

For Christmas, my friends and family gave me..

Super comfy pajamas,

Silly puppets,

A hand stitched tablecloth a friend brought back from Hungary,

 A personalized family calender,

sexy panties from my bf's mother!

Lots and lots of chocolates,

and my most favorite is this colorful camera strap from my friend Dante. I love it so much!

What did you get for the holidays?

Saturday

It snowed all day yesterday and for a moment it left the city looking clean, quiet, and beautiful. I was a little disappointed to wake up this morning to see that it had stopped snowing.
That's why I made my own snowflakes!

Now, every time I look out my window it's snowing =)

Thursday

Do you ever wonder what people are thinking about when you pass them on the street?
I made a bunch of thought bubbles out of paper and we hung them around Brooklyn. We waited for people to walk by the bubbles and when they did, I took a picture.
I'm sure people think about love,
food,
and ladies in bikinis ;)
What would you put in your bubble?

Wednesday

Me and Matty saw this hilarious turkey through the window of a supermarket.
We walk in and jokingly ask the manager where we can get a giant turkey like the one hanging from the ceiling. He looks at us and says, " You want this turkey? "
Next thing you know, the guy is grabbing a ladder and taking it off the ceiling for us! He said it was a display item for Thanksgiving and they didn't need it anymore so he just let us take it.

I was laughing so hard holding the turkey that I could barely breathe,
so Matty carried home the prize turkey.
It's so big that it doesn't even fit through our doorway.
I'm now convinced that the space above the refrigerator was made for giant turkeys like this.

Monday

What a cozy surprise to see outside my window!
Me and Matty wandered around Brooklyn last night. How crazy are these christmas decorations?

We learned that a woman named Lucy lives here. Her neighbors used to get angry about her decorations because they were so bright and distracting. At one point someone called the cops on her so Lucy hired a band to play outside just piss her neighbors off even more. Eventually the rest of the block gave in and started decorating too!
