Reasons why Taipei is adorable

Everything they sell is so cute that you involuntarily turn into a cartoon character,

the ceiling in the airport makes me dream of an umbrella filled sky,

you can take a train around the mall,

or ride around on a funny looking animal.

The buildings make silly faces at you,

and they also have tons of cat cafes!

There's outdoor bubble machines,

afro dogs,

and some restaurants will give you free food if you kiss someone!

Lego Wedding Ring

Doesn't my friend Tyler have the coolest wedding ring ever?

I think I will buy a box of legos and build a castle on his hand the next time I see him.

Toilet Themed Restaurant

When I heard that Taipei had a toilet themed restaurant, it immediately became my mission to find this crazy place.

Mission accomplished!

The chairs are toilet seats,

the tables are bath tubs,

and there are silly murals on the walls.

You drink out of urinals,

and eat out of toilet bowls!

I ordered chocolate ice cream that was made to look like... you know...

mmmm, yum?

Taipei Street Art

Taipei has so much street art that it's impossible to walk somewhere without stopping to play.

It's super colorful,

clever,

funny,

and extremely flattering, ooh lala!

A place where you can run up to a random group of business men and get a hug from each and every one of them.

Japanese toilets make flushing sounds to help you get in the mood!

Unfortunately it sounds more like a fire breathing dragon, which happens to be the one thing that makes me pee shy.

Cat Cafe

Did you know that there are Cat Cafes in Japan?

It's true aaaaand the best thing ever!

You just go inside and order a cup of coffee but instead of sitting at a table with people, you sit and sip your coffee with a bunch of cats jumping all over you!

There are cats in trees,

cats passed out on the floor,

cats hanging out on tables,

and lots of cats on the ceiling.

I wish every morning started with a fresh cup of coffee and a bunch of lethargic cats!
