This video cracks me up. I have NEVER seen myself look this serious! My friend asked if I can help him out and model for this video for B&H. The store is run by Hasidic Jews so they covered me in grey and told me to look as frum as possible. I wasn't even allowed to smile, is that even possible for me??

Wow...was that really you? It seemed painfull to not smile.
I'm addicted to your blog now. Thanks.
haha punam's got some competition! ;)
That's just mean. Haha.
"Frum" means "modest." Modest does not equal depressed, does it? And I assume they dressed you in gray to match the back wall, so that your face stands out more... I hope.
It's not possible for you not to smile, I saw you smiling.
Hey Irina!
They meant frum as in a very conservative Jewish woman. They wanted me to wear a turtle neck and a grey sweater so that I don't show any skin ( showing skin is inappropriate). And you're right, although they told me not to look happy I couldn't help it, I have a little smirk on my face =)
ahhhh, i know them well... i'm surprised they brought in an outside woman at all! classic story.
(okay, i need to stop reading your blog and go to bed...but it's so great!)
so many picutres on this blog :) the smock thing made me smile but your dads coat was better :)
I love the way you were trying not to smile :)
