Sunday

This weekend I...
surprised Matty with a cute ice cream cake even though he's on a diet,
Met a lawyer by day and a potter by night,
Photographed a fun craft workshop,
Saw this pretty view of columbus circle,
Met this lovely lady,
Interviewed people for our Improv Everywhere documentary,
Went to a restaurant where you eat in tents!
and put on a spontaneous puppet show in a toy store with Matty!

What fun things did you do this weekend?

Wow that's a really productive weekend!
I got up at 5:30 Saturday morning to walk 45 minutes to a hill nearby with my friend to watch the sunrise... Then we kind of missed it because we were taking pictures of ourselves jumping in the snow with the sun rising behind us behind a row of trees. Then I came back and slept for 4 more hours...
And I watched this percussionist from Scotland (who's deaf) at her concert, and watched an improv show.
Today I taught adopted Chinese children about Chinese Traditional Clothing and different types of clothing in Chinese.
And I stole some helium balloons from a summer opportunities fair...

That cake looks absolutely amazing - I want to eat it!

Hey Beth! My favorite lens is my 85mm. It opens all the way up to 1.2 which throws the background out of focus =)

Our weekend was not nearly as fun or exciting as yours, but we did get some time out at the park, a birthday party and some shopping. Eleanor got new new blue shoes she is pretty jazzed about ;) xx

We explored the old Cambodian capital of Oudong, climbed 500 steps to a temple with an amazing view and a room of 5000 buddhas, stopped at the blue mosque on the way home, visited the wildlife park and held hands with a rescued monkey, agonised over the illicit trade in sunbears as we watched the rescued ones eat coconuts, tried milk fruit we bought from a road side stall, cried as we paid our respects to the dead at the 'Killing Fields' Choung Ek, ate at Friends a training restaurant for street kids in Phnom Penh and watched traffic flow like water around a rock from the treadmill with the best view in Phnom Penh. It was a good weekend in Cambodia!

Sounds like you had a full and fun-packed weekend.

As for me - we had some of my husband's old highschool friends come stay with us with their new baby. We have never had a baby stay at the place we live now, so it was quite a treat!

My playmate isn't nearly as playful as yours. Still. We spent last weekend in Kansas City attending two different plays and at the Nelson Atkins art museum. It was a great weekend.

i'm so incredibly jealous of your life. you inspire me so much, but sadly the school i'm currently at depresses me so much. hopefully i'll overcome it and become all that you are, or at least something relatively close.
