100 Pets

This is my favorite picture I've ever taken!
Last year I shot 100 strangers in 3 hours. It was so much fun to meet all these new people and create an image that brings them all together.
Then last night I took a picture of this lil' fellow. It's funny how serious he looks and I suddenly realized, I should remake the 100 picture with pets! I can already picture how hilarious and adorable it would look.

So now I'm asking for your help!

Do you live in NYC? Would you like to have a fun picture taken of your dog, cat, bird, turtle, rabbit, or any other pet? I'm thinking of setting up a day at a park where people can bring their pets and we can do portraits outside! Email me at colormekatie@gmail.com, say hello and attach a picture of your cute little creature!

Me again. I spent all of last night reading your entire blog. It was addicting in the best way possible for that word! EVERY single post was like this gift...it's weird...I never say stuff like that! You are inspiring and uplifting and touching in every single way. (I laughed, I cried, I called my grandma!) I have been frantically emailing everyone I know to go to your blog. YOU, my friend, will change (already have!) this world.

I think also, just having gone through your blog, solidified my decision to move back to NY.

I know this sounds weird, but I feel extremely blessed to just have found this. Like I did something good and this was my reward.

SO, I know I'm bordering on stalkerlike words, but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

I love your 100 people picture! Great idea to use pets for it! How did you get 100 strangers and take their pictures? And what did you use for the background? Love your blog, you're so creative and fun!

The 100 people idea was genius. Didn't you get 101 people since there are two in one frame? or are you in there somewhere?

If you need more pets, I have two lovely cats in Brooklyn that would love to be part of the project!
