For our latest Improv Everywhere mission, we surprised a Salvation Army bell ringer by bringing along our own bell ringers to play with him.
Our first ringer came out with a gigantic bell
until we had a 13 member handbell choir playing "Joy to the World".
It was a fun christmas surprise for the ringer and all the people in the street!
This was amazing! It gave me shivers and brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful surprise at Christmas time!
How cute. The church I went to as a kid had a handbell choir, they are beautiful. The Salvation Army bell ringer will have a story to remember for the rest of his life. hugs from HW
I love Improv Everywhere! This was quite lovely. Thanks!
I love his after expression.
The faces said it all, JOY! Thanks

Hi, im really interested in joining the improv group. How do i join?

your blog amazes me and inspires me to let my inner child out. thank you and please, keep it comin'!!!
This is the best. You all are so amazing.
How fun! I love this idea. I was laughing out loud. You guys are great.
I love how the improv your group does is not confrontational or meanspirited, but always reminding people of how cool people can be and that fun should be a part of "adult" life.
You guys rock!
I don't think I will ever come to your blog and not leave with a smile on my face. Keep enjoying this time in your life. :) It inspires me to have more fun in mine!

Awesome. I think you made his Christmas...look at the smile on his face.
Hehe! I'm sure you made the day of many people! This made me smile.
Christmas spirit at its best... First I laughed, then I cried. Thank you!
I laughed at the guys face, then I felt so sorry for him once they'd all left and he was the only one dingling his tiny bell.
I love improv. Brilliant!!!
I remember one Christmas going to some mall in Johannesburg with my parents,
and the Salvation Army brass band was there playing carols. They were so good
that I got goose bumps!
The Salvation Army does good work - I wish more people would support them. Improvs like this draw excellent attention to a good cause, while being such fun.
Nicely done :-)
I love this a lot. Thank you.

That is so wonderful ! :)
I just came across this way too late, but it is absolutely the most beautiful thing. Tried very hard not to start crying, but I could feel my glasses misting up. I love how much peoples' random acts of kindness can touch others.
