I'm not good at being sick because I hate being stuck in bed with nothing to do.
So I've been spending most of my time exploring different countries with google maps on my iPad.
I saw a horse carriage in Rome,
funny cat statues in Amsterdam,
the Eiffel Tower in Paris,
the fake Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas,
a horse visiting some guy in Ireland,
and I even found the North Pole!
The street lamps there are decorated like candy canes,
and I found a street called Santa Claus Lane.
I may be sick and stuck in bed but that won't stop me from traveling around the world!
so cute! i love this!!
ReplyDeletei wish i had an ipad to travel with when i am sick in bed!

Santa Claus leave in Finland! :( Believe me.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Katie! (oh that's funny: the word verification code is dingest, which is actually a word in Dutch (kinda), it's hard to translate, because it can be used in all kinds of ways, we use it when we can't find the right word. It could be 'thingy' or 'what's his name' or it could be a location or.. well pretty much anything.) Isn't that awesome? Not only can you travel while sick, you can also learn useful words in other languages! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been to North Pole, Alaska! They have Santaland. Oh, yeah!!!
ReplyDeleteThe commenter who said you should be president? SO RIGHT!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI just moved to Boston, but I used to live right by North Pole! I worked with the Girl Scouts there, and it's the town where all the letters to Santa go. Sent my friends from other places lots of letters just for the special postal stamp.
