King Philip IV

King Philip IV
For our latest Improv Everywhere mission, we found an actor who looks just like King Philip IV of Spain. There's a giant painting of him at the Metropolitan Museum of Art so we thought it would be funny for him to dress up and pretend he was King Philip IV,

and do an autograph signing!
People started to notice when he stood in front of the painting,
and they immediately came up for autographs,

and to take photos with him!

Technically, King Philip IV would be 400 years old today but we just told people that he looks good for his age because he eats healthy ;)
Such a silly fun time!

  18. This is totally fun!

The museum should actually be thanking them for bringing so much attention to the otherwise boring painting of King Philip IV of Spain!

  19. That honestly made my whole week. I really needed a pick me up with all the school work I've done. Did no one read the description?

People are so odd. But I want to know what happened after the guy came too.

  23. I've always though that this painting of Paul Revere looks exactly like Jack Black
    http://www.americanrevolution.org/revere.gif
It would be great to do that at the MFA in Boston, where the painting is currently located.

  26. Once I was the King of Spain. Now I eat Humble Pie. Love that song. Maybe next he could sell Humble Pie at the local Pie store while the song plays.

Love this. Spent my entire Sunday watching every video on Improv Everywhere.
