Flowers

I bought this colorful set of glasses at a nearby store but instead of using them to drink from,
I thought they would be pretty to use as little individual vases to put flowers in!
I can't wait till it gets warmer so I can take morning walks and pick wildflowers to put in each glass. Such a lovely way to start the day!

Looooove tulips! To keep them bright and fresh, stick a few ice cubes in each glass. Tulips are total Snow Misers. :-)

It would also be pretty to buy white carnations and put colored water in each glass -- red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple -- and then make a rainbow! Here are some instructions: http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiment/00000144

I love your thinking with these cups/vases! I'm always so happy when tulips come in season. They're such a happy flower.

Kathy's idea--the colored water--is genius. I think I'm going to use it for a party I'm planning.

I truthfully believe that fairies must make their dresses from the silk petals of tulips. They're the most beautiful flowers, and my favourite besides daisies.

What beautiful photos - inspires me to put flowers in my home. I can't help but consider how it might be possible for our lives to also bring joy, hope & fragrance into the lives of those whose path we cross. Thanks Katie for doing that for me today...
