Do you ever get in the mood to just make something pretty? I do!
So I dumped out my drawers all over the floor and made a total mess ( it feels quite liberating! ). Then I separated all of the objects by color.
Mmmm, pretty.

I love this! Man, I miss I Spy....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! so pretty.colours make me happy too.
ReplyDeleteCool collages! :D
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a colorful day!
Miki.
At first I thought I don't have enough stuff to do something like this, but then I had a closer look. I'm sure I have tons of pens and pencils in various colors. We also have balloons. And yarn. And thread. And hair bands. And stickers. And beads. In all, I'm sure anyone could find enough bits and bobs at home to make a collage like this, but I'm also quite sure most people would dread to spend the time making it and then putting everything back in its original place. It's nice to see somebody doing things like this! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat? No Green sunglasses that should be in the shape of clover? Highly disappointed, even if the collage is extraordinarily cool!! Oh, and I see you shop at Hobby Lobby as well (turtle). The cool factor just shot up ten points.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! You're very very talented. I love picture #2 and #6 the most :)
ReplyDeleteperfect explosion of color! this makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteYour collections and bits and pieces look so beautiful displayed this way. I'd say it was worth it to spend the time doing this!

ReplyDelete@OneGirl- That's so cute! This makes me think that it would be fun to make your own personal I Spy book by photographing your child's toys all in a mess and then printing out the pics in a little book for them. Now I'm all excited... I'm totally going to make a personal I Spy book for my brother!

ReplyDeleteI love this! And it reminds me of something a fellow kiwi lass did - organising objects by colour to make a colour BOOK for her children. Could your photos work for the same? Then it could be a gift for a toddler you know! You can see her beautiful images here.

I'm so all over that! My five year old loves I Spy, and he loves the homemade book we made about his first train ride. Bet your little brother will be geeked about the one you make for him.
