I have a little bit time following your blog... (year ago or kind of)and the only thing what can say is just I love it, always you put a smile on my face.
Love your blog so much!!!!!!!!! U always post the coolest stuff, I actually copied the idea you had of painting rocks with hearts and scattering them around town (sorry) :)
Love all the peacock pictures. Everything you told is true. We have several peacocks in the park here. And I can tell you, the peacocks make noises that nobody ever would expect from them. Have a nice weekend!
This post is just wonderful! I've always loved peacocks because of their brilliant and lovely colors, but the more I know about them, the more I get amazed! haha xx -Jianine
I lived with a peacock on my property - they may be beautiful, but there is nothing like the sound of one in spring. Like a baby being strangled! I didn't sleep for four months and I couldn't get rid of it to save my life. The next year I bought a dog and it never screetched at me again. In fact one time the dog chased it and it employed a self defense mechanism and sprayed all it's feathers out. I am a proud owner of over 100 peacock feathers! (but never again will I live with a peacock!)
I'm so much in love with peacock, they're just sooo pretty! be it the full color version or the white one hahah... <3 and I missed your post miss Katie! *hugs*
Such a fun post! I had a neighbor who had peacocks and they spent many happy hours in my yard. I can do a great peacock impression. (They sound like cats in trouble.)
One of my neighbours when I was a child had a couple of peacocks. One of them loved a good jailbreak. One time all my class mates and I had to chase it through the schoolyard and four gardens, when it was on the run!
I have a friend who works at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, where they have peacocks wandering around. The guides tell the kids groups that doing the chicken dance will get them to spread their feathers. Really, it's just the clapping that does it.
We would go to the zoo when I was little and the peacocks were my favorite! They got to wander around free and it was always a treasure hunt trying to find a loose feather on the ground to take home! I still have them in my room :)
