I tried to make some progress on a dissertation (?), but had no succes and didn't do anything else then trying, so sunday I decided to take a big 20 minutes break. I put off my shoes, took a walk on the grass, let me fall down and enjoyed watching the clouds.
on friday i bought a prom dress and then the rest of the weekend my best friends visited from out of state. we learned a fun dance, watched gossip girl and went to a bonfire. we also cooked and ate a lot! there we sooo many pictures of us being goofy!
I sat around a craft show booth for 2 days not selling my handbags, a venture of which I took no pictures because my camera batteries were dead. BUT, I finished knitting a pair of mittens! :-D
I ate and ate and ate and spent the weekend with friends and in-laws... and spring has sadly disappeared elsewhere :(
good choice on the lens by the way, I have one too but I hardly ever use it, I've only got a rebel xti and with the 24-70 on it becomes REALLY front heavy. oh how I hope I get to own a 5D one day...
I work on the weekends, so today I gave myself a Lazy Monday. I slept in, read a book outside, finished planting our vegetable garden, and had dinner with the family. Quite a lovely day.
The 24-70mm is the lens I'm seriously considering, can't wait to hear what you think of it. I had a busy weekend, photographed a wedding on Saturday, spent Sunday editing. (I'm an amatuer)
Um, I had 12 family members stay with me from out of town to see me GRADUATE! And we kayaked, had a beach party, went antique shopping, I had a nervous breakdown at some point, and we all played a very intense game of Catch Phrase. Uh. I need a nap.
I went away to the beach with my husband and our best married friends. Our husbands birthdays are two weeks apart in late March-early April but we couldn't celebrate till now. It was a surprise for the boys.
It was fabulous. My husband and I hadn't gone overnight from our son in over a year. Sand. Wine. Sea breezes. Kites. Skateboarding. Homemade guacamole.
Me... I surprised my long distance boyfriend: catch a plane to fly for 1,5 hours, rent a car to drive for 3 hours more and stood quiet at his bedroom while he showered. His face was absolutely priceless.
Then had the best weekend ever by eating out, driving through the mountains, dipping my hands in the Guadalquivir river and being hugged and kissed a thousand times.
Sometimes lazy Sundays are like a nap or a good cry... just what you needed.
I saw fireworks with my Mom for Victoria Day (Canadian holiday) and helped my fiance pack up his life into boxes for our move to the new house in ten days.
Coooolllll I dream of lazy sunday ... I went to the sunday morning market and in the afternoon to the oldest street of my town for "les beaux dimanches" a weekly spring/summer little festival... Exhibitions, food, drinks, musics, etc....
Oh man you guys had such a great weekend! I was stuck home finishing up my assignments and revising for the upcoming tests this week. So horrible, I couldn't even find the time to take a break at all!
Oh, aren't you cute! I spent the weekend curled up in bed, sick with a head cold... :)- not my idea of fun but sometimes a forced rest is the only rest one can get...
