Marshmallows

Is there anything more fun than marshmallows?
Why yes,

marshmallows with food colored faces!
And is there anything more fun than marshmallows with faces?
Why yes,
marshmallows with stylish icing hairdos!

They're super easy and fun to make. All you need is food coloring, a thin paint brush, icing and of course marshmallows. Now I really want to have a house party just so I can fill all the snack bowls with silly faced marshmallows instead of chips!

I think I could eat all of them except for the blue one with her eyes closed. She just looks so peaceful and unsuspecting...she would get to live in the freezer forever and make friends with the frozen peas.

i love your ideas. Just to let you know how you inspired me. My husband and I went to europe and we need to be able to identify our luggage. I doodled all over them in black marker. I had a great time. We were standing in line to check in and someone say "oh did your kids colour on your luggage" I just smiled and said nope ... just me. I was really easy to find our luggage.
Thanks for the inspiration

Those are so cute! I love marshmallows and I love frosting, so these could be dangerous in my house.

Did you know they make food markers? They might not be as bright as the food coloring you used, but they might be easier to control for little kids.

Awesome! Love how the addition of a face makes anything more fun :)

Reminds me of a brand of eggs here in Australia with smiley faces printed on the shells. It's always struck me as such an wonderfully simple, happy way to give something boring a bit of a smile:

Hello, i’ve created a blog to help others.
You just have to send your doubts or anything you want to (whatagood_day@hotmail.com) so I can publish it in my blog and others can answer (you don’t need to have a blog to do this). I’ve just started, would you have a look?

Bonjour dear Katie! What a darling idea, a gazillion thanks for providing all of us with such brillant projects! I made some "faces de guimauve" for a small brunch affair I had. I was late and in a hurry, but it still turned out quite wonderful. Here is the link to my facebook page:

I am mostly a fiction writer; yet I can't refrain myself creating things with my ten little fingers. Hence my "robot-sculptures", which are assemblages of plastic "parts" I collect; hense my Nonpareil Monsters... Cheers for you Katie! Have a luminous 2012 !
