i love it when people are not too sure about whether they are in a right palce (@ the beach) or 'those' that suit up but still enjoying their moment at the sandy beach.

The guy at the end summed it up pretty well: "Everybody is happy!" I love it that some people dressed up their little ones and brought them along, too.

It reminds of people in Victorian ages, with portable beach-changing rooms and long bathingsuits. :)

Ok, hope you'll understand, not really having the energy (evening over here) for some better english. ;-)

That man is so cute!!! And The tuxes in the ocean were so romantic. If I lived by the beach I would most likely take my wedding pictures there!

I've always like the Improv Everywhere stuff and wish I lived in NYC so I could do more events (the summers are a hiatus time for the ImprovAZ crowd). Everytime I see one of these events I can't help but smile but its the non-participants smiles that make me want to do this stuff.
Keep up the good work and bringing smiles to everyone!

I LOVE this! The kid on the boogyboard in the tuxedo and the little girl playing with her dad in the waves are my fave. What great memories they will have of their childhood!

If only there were more moments in life where a simple "everybody's happy" just made all right with the world! It looked like awesome fun and a true success! :)

Thanks for letting me bump into this amazing blog. I've been pretty down for a few weeks now and reading about all the happy and silly things you didn't make my problems go away but it did put the most genuine smile on my face for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Thanks!

We have something similar in Tahoe, except it's on a river :) We float down Tahoe's only outlet, the Truckee river in formal wear. Often there's a balloon arch over this bridge at the entrance where we take cheesy photos. Everyone is so cold by the outtake (some 3 hours later) from floating in wet polyester!

here's Tahoe River Prom's Facebook page:

I love it! I think my small town needs an improv event at the man-made beach on the man-made lake...hehe, seriously, though, it looks SO fun! though the speedos on a few of the more ordinary beachgoers are a bit scary...
