Best Present Ever

I have a special love for exclamation marks. I use them so much because most of the time I'm super excited!

My awesome friend Tyler noticed that I put an exclamation mark after every sentence in my emails. So yesterday he stopped by and built me the best present ever....a giant button just for an exclamation mark!

I just plug it into my laptop, press the fun giant button and it types the mark right on the screen. It makes being excited even more exciting!

( yes, my head is currently exploding )

So just remember this image. This is probably what I'll look like every time I write a new blog post or email from now on.

We were talking about possibly making a bunch of these fun buttons together and selling them. If you had your very own button what would it be of? I think a heart would be adorable!

a few things that make me smile

Putting on puppet shows with my feet,

cats that sit on rooftops and treat the building likes it's their throne,

playing with shadows in the trees,

completely covering my walls with fun,

swimming in the ocean with adorable dogs,

my brother's inability to sit still,

Ice cream cone noses,

a silly picnic with just me and my friend Tyler...

aaaaand an entire film crew,

ceiling sharks,

a quick trip to Mars,

and playing football with a bunch of little monkey children!

Empty Cabinets

Something tells me that I need to go food shopping...

or else I'm having cat for lunch.

Marshmallows

Is there anything more fun than marshmallows?

Why yes,

marshmallows with food colored faces!

And is there anything more fun than marshmallows with faces?

Why yes,

marshmallows with stylish icing hairdos!

They're super easy and fun to make. All you need is food coloring, a thin paint brush, icing and of course marshmallows. Now I really want to have a house party just so I can fill all the snack bowls with silly faced marshmallows instead of chips!

I don't know what's funnier...Darth Vader accidently smashing his head into the subway door or the Stormtrooper dropping his money and not being able to bend over and pick it up.

Face It

The last few weeks have felt like I was lost in a cloud of confused thoughts and feelings. But then I read this, "Face it, feelings are mutable, and an emotion that seems permanent one minute could be a distant memory the next. Instead of focusing on what could be, figure out what really is and then make your move with haste."

and suddenly it all made sense.

and jumping on the bed to my favorite music and enjoying the moment made even more sense.

Star Wars Subway Car

For our latest Improv Everywhere mission, we reenacted a scene from Star Wars on the subway.

Princess Leia went out for what she thought was a quiet ride on the train,

when suddenly Stormtroopers entered!

They quickly spotted her,

captured her,

and took her to the doors on the opposite side of the train.

Of course Darth Vader decided to pop in and join the party.

The entire train car broke out in laughter!

It always makes me so happy to see complete strangers laughing with each other.

I spy with my little eye...

the prettiest kiss ever,

the tastiest looking marshmallows,

an awesome coffee mug,

a wall that looks like melting ice cream,

a boat sailing down the street,

My friends Jake and Kristina got married last weekend and I was so excited to shoot their wedding!

There's a billion things that made me happy that day but here are just a few...

This amazing wall and these bright blue dresses,

sweet mom moments,

" You look good in that" hangers,

dreamy roses at the alter,

ginormous windows and fun people,

big surprise kisses from dad,

tiny flashers,

this adorably in love couple,

little monkey children,

and jumping on rooftops!

Eek! I just love weddings. If I didn't shoot them I'm sure I'd spend my weekends crashing them ;)
