New Photo Project

While I was shooting in the subway the other day, I met a super sweet guy who told me he was a puppeteer. A puppeteer? How fun is that! I've never met a puppeteer before so it inspired me to start a new photo project where I visit people at their creative/colorful jobs and take a fun portrait of them.

For example, do you build giant ball pits? Are you a toy maker or some sort of designer?
Are you a clown, an acrobat, a dancer, an illustrator, etc... ?
If you live in NYC and would like to be part of my new project, email me at Colormekatie@gmail.com and tell me what your job is! It would be lovely to meet some other creative people out there and you'll get a fun portrait and a big hug out of it ;)

I no longer have a job because i didn't find it creative anymore...i mean as a Certified Arborist i will still love trees for somebody else right? I would like to help with my newly found time off...my wheels are turning differently now...Santa gave me a scanner for Xmas to make digital copies and etc...What a great idea! Your on to something here! I'm 42 and have a 'Tree Guy' for most of it. I'm always living in Boston, MA and i have a few snaps from the last two blizzards on Comm Ave!

Katie, my college roommate started her own hot yoga wear clothing line and is also a hot yoga instructor. She's in Westwood, NJ, and makes all her funky clothing in her home. You should check her out! She's fun and full of color...and really likes hugs :)
