Reason #2,387 why I love Moo

Because when I spend hours making something awesome on my floor,
Moo strolls in all nonchalant,
and completely destroys it in less than 5 seconds.
But he's just so darn cute,
that I can't help but love him even more for it.

He's just like a little kid, except maybe he's more sneaky about it. My son does that to me all the time, but I definitely know when he's coming to make a mess :)

Lisa said...

He's 'helping'. A special skill cats have. :)

This looks like something that would happen to a character in a children's book! Katie...you should totally write/photograph for a children's book!!

There's actually an important, real lesson in this anecdote: i.e., something may have one meaning to one person (you) and a completely different meaning to another (Moo). We need to appreciate and accept the different perceptions others may have. Even your cat's!

Oh!! My son and I look at this and we miss our own cat, Chester. Moo and Chester would have a blast together....Maybe a vacation to the Blue Ridge could be in Moo's future!

My cat does the same thing when it comes to board games. She likes to lay right in the middle, but only after we have played enough to ruin the board pieces.

Wowzers! So helpful! ;)

i feel the same way about my cat! except my cat would be batting all those little pieces around the room and trying to eat them. and that is why i love him so much!

My mum's cat likes to sit on laptops. Not laps - never laps. Just laptops.

Your lovely cat must be a little buddhist, perhaps you must take the destruction of your colorful mandala as a meditation on impermanence? Or perhaps not :).

colormekatie said...

@Verte Adelie- That's so funny that you noticed that. That's exactly how I was looking at it!

I would like to ask you a question... what type of camera do you use? Do you edit the shots? Your colors are sooo energetic!
Thanks! :)

Oh, I'm sorry I found it on a 2009 post "I shoot with a Canon 5D with either my 16-35mm or 85mm 1.2 lens." I knew I would find it ^^ Oh, and again... you are awesome!

Is Moo a Turkish Van? He's got the "thumbprint mark of God's right hand" between his shoulder blades.

He's too cute! If he is a Turkish Van, then you can consider him one of a kind since they are a naturally occuring breed that are considered rare in the US. You've got a keeper!!
