For our latest Improv Everywhere mission, we found an actor who looks just like King Philip IV of Spain. There's a giant painting of him at the Metropolitan Museum of Art so we thought it would be funny for him to dress up and pretend he was King Philip IV,
and do an autograph signing!
People started to notice when he stood in front of the painting,
and they immediately came up for autographs,
and to take photos with him!
Technically, King Philip IV would be 400 years old today but we just told people that he looks good for his age because he eats healthy ;)
Such a silly fun time!

What a fun mission! I love it when improv requires audience participation!
What a lovely and funny idea! And he sure looks like King Philip IV!
Oh, and what happened with him when that man came?

OMG!! I went to college with that actor!!!

Brilliant!
Awesome! This reminds me of the FB meme my friends and I are trying to start for everyone to change their profile pic to a work of art that looks like them!
Haha, awesome!
Oh! Those humorless museum people!
I'd be so shocked if i were at the museum that time ╭(⫪ ∀⫪;)╮I would think he's the real deal if I didnt know that photo was ancient
I love it!! As I love all your guys's Improv stuff. Brilliant. Exactly my sense of humor. You guys have to come to Seattle!! And tell me first. lol. It would break my heart if I missed meeting you.
I knew him when I lived in NY! How random! Haha I love it. "He is famous for being in this Velazquez painting."
Neat idea

I wonder how foolish people can be! they admitted that guy as 400 years old..
This totally brightened my day.
This is totally fun!
The museum should actually be thanking them for bringing so much attention to the otherwise boring painting of King Philip IV of Spain!
That honestly made my whole week. I really needed a pick me up with all the school work I've done. Did no one read the description?
People are so odd. But I want to know what happened after the guy came too.
My first monthly test had finished. Now this?
Thanks for making my day Katie!
Will you guys come to Malaysia?
:D
Thumbs Up!

:)
Who says it's so boring to be in a museum?. HAHA!. :)
Genius! Proves that no one really cares to read the signs with background info. :)
I've always though that this painting of Paul Revere looks exactly like Jack Black
http://www.americanrevolution.org/revere.gif
It would be great to do that at the MFA in Boston, where the painting is currently located.

Don't you see the resemblance??
This is way, way, way too funny! I'm without speakers and I was still laughing watching this video without sound. Love it.
It sounded like you guys had a real fun time....
Once I was the King of Spain. Now I eat Humble Pie. Love that song. Maybe next he could sell Humble Pie at the local Pie store while the song plays.
Love this. Spent my entire Sunday watching every video on Improv Everywhere.
Thanks

I'd love to see this done in front of like an Ellsworth Kelly color field with "Red" signing autographs, "Yellow" coming up saying HE'S the real star of the painting....
