Things that make me smile

Making rainbow pancakes,
lovely reminders in the subway,
adorable umbrellas,

Darth Maul keeping up with celebrity gossip,
awkward finger puppets,

cat vs. dog staring contests,
027
people that blend in with their environment,

funny signs on how to dress at the beach,
Wall of books!
walls made of books,
Hey baby...
skinny guys,
a waitress slipping this sweet note under the check,
and cozy book store weddings!

If I had a list, your blog would top it. :) How do you make those bright colors in your pancakes? Whenever I try to color them, they end up pastel at best.

How fun!! These all made me smile - that umbrella is adorable, and I had to look twice at the women wearing those flower hats!! Lots of little common things that can make us smile if we just look for them, huh! :)

I just wanted to say that you're awesome and you always make me happy! Thank you for that!

The umbrella reminds me of mine (with the cutest heart pattern ever). I should get it and take a walk in the rain, so the lousy weather won't bother me anymore.

Thanks for making me smile :)

Ok. So now I want to marry. In a cozy bookstore. With rainbow pancakes and tulips.

Hahaha, you always make me smile. And laugh. And I know it does not get much better than smiling and laughing. The "people that blend in with their environment" comment was too funny. I had to take a second look. Cute! Oh, and that note would totally make my day. Or week?

I think Moo is above staring especially at a lowly dog...looks to me like he is looking to the side and saying "really, you are your panting are so beneath me"

Bel said...

All the things that make you smile make me smile too :) I think Moo is winning that one!

Offish my fave of the 'fave things' lists. Approximately 95% of the items have me laughing solidly in a quiet library setting. Thank goodness for your blog during finals week.

Ok, I'm going to smile but not just because everyone else is smiling. No one makes me smile unless I want to smile. I'll smile because i want to and because your smile is contagious. There, I said it and now I feel better. Wait, wait, wait, here it goes I feel another smile coming on....ughh! there it is,,,darn it you made me smile again without warning and without my approval. See what you did, you broke my 'smiler'. Ok, maybe it doesn't hurt that bad. Fine, I'll smile this one last time but don't make me smile again, Ok?

I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to eat those coloured pancakes - bright and vibrant as they are - in the back of my mind I think I would be wondering if someone had just not melted crayon on them....

One year at primary (elementary) school we did an experiment as a class incidentally where we divided into groups and each group took a colour and decorated a room in our assigned colour and had food in that colour too - ours was blue and I remember no one wanting to drink our blue fizzy drink. They were also a little hesitant to try the blue coconut ice. I remember the yellow and brown rooms were both warm and sunny though.

LOVE the awkward finger puppet, darth maul and wall made of books.

Cat vs. dog staring contests. Yes! Who won? :)
