Kisses

This weekend Matty and I volunteered to take fun pictures at the Greenpoint Food Market.

I made tons of hearts to hang up and took pics of people kissing for Valentine's day!

There were romantic kisses,

blowing kisses,

cheek pecks,

Triple kisses,

group smooches,

baby kisses,

dog licks,

and Matty....who is sadly still looking for a kiss.

Anyone interested now? He's got some good moves ;)

Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to play with your food!

Morning

Every morning I wake up and start working in my kitchen,

but yesterday morning I felt that something was missing.

So I grabbed my paper and started cutting.

Ahhhh, much better. Every morning should start with a colorful bunch of balloons!

Reason #1,256 why I love Moo

A Kiss In Your Pocket

Does your loved one run after you for a kiss the second you walk out the door? Do they call you at 1 am begging you to come over and kiss them goodnight? Do they stand on the train platform and blow you kisses 30 minutes after your train already left? If so, then this is the perfect Valentines day gift idea for you!

Introducing a kiss in your pocket.

First, take a picture of yourself blowing a kiss.

Then print a bunch of little pictures and use a red marker to draw one heart on the first picture, two on the second and so on..

Punch holes on the end and tie it together with ribbon. You've just made a kiss flip book!

No longer will your loved one feel clinically depressed when you're away since they'll have your kiss right in their pocket.

Problem solved! ;)

Movies

Matty bought a projector for our room!

Not only can you watch movies with it,

but you can make silly shadow puppets,

battle with lightsabers,

and smooch some celebrities!

;)

The Chalk Walk

This weekend I thought it would be fun to add some color to my block! So I went outside and traced my footsteps with chalk down the sidewalk.

As I was doing this, a grumpy old man came up to me and yelled at me to stop. I actually thought about stopping until a boy came up to me with a giant smile and said "make more"

and I liked his advice better =)

So I tested out the finished footprints,

ran up to my window to wait with Moo,

and took pictures when people walked by so that it looks like they are leaving trails of colorful footprints!

It was really cute to watch kids (and many adults who thought no one was watching) hop along the footsteps like they were playing hopscotch.

Magic Curtain

I've always loved those magic curtains that Superheroes stand behind to quickly change their outfits. I'm tired of going through my messy closet looking for something to wear so I put some magic curtains in my room to help me get dressed in the morning!

Although, I think I need a lot more practice.

No Pants!

Matty just finished editing Improv Everywhere's No Pants Subway Ride video!

Doesn't the music make you wanna silly dance around your room in your undies? I know that's what I'll be doing for the rest of the night!

My photo wall is growing!

It's full of silly silhouettes,

colorful silhouettes,

and of course, love!

Acrobatic Cat

Moo is so dedicated to being an acrobat,

that he even practices in his sleep!

No Pants Subway Ride

Yesterday was Improv Everywhere's 9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride!

Thousands of people came out in the cold to take their pants off and ride the trains with a straight face.

Totally caught this girl sneaking a peak ;)

I would say only in New York but this event happened in 43 cities around the world!

Would you feel comfortable dropping your pants in public?

I'm making a New Year's resolution to become more organized.

My head is always full of fun ideas, silly thoughts and about a billion things I need to do. Sometimes it gets so cluttered that I can't focus on anything.

That's why I bought this magic wand to help me organize my thoughts!

Moo

Matty and I have been waking up to the sounds of hammering the past few nights.

So last night I hopped out of bed and quietly followed a trail of tools on the floor...

which led me to Moo!

Apparently, he's been busy building himself a bachelor's pad.

Fun Snow

We had a giant blizzard this weekend.

Unfortunately, the snow here turns brown and disgusting real quick but I decided that I wouldn't let that happen this time!

So I filled a few spray bottles with colored water and went around my neighborhood spraying the snow red, blue, yellow, and green.

The ground now looks like one big tasty snow cone.

Take that brown snow!
