Surprise Wedding Reception

For our latest Improv Everywhere mission, we picked a random couple getting married at City Hall and threw them a surprise wedding reception!
The couple we picked were so excited!
We had a tasty cake for them,
a champagne toast,
and lots of presents!
The bride's father was there and they had a cute father-daughter dance.
We then sent them on their way!
Even though we didn't know the couple, this was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding!
Matty made the hilarious video.
It's impossible not to smile when watching it =)

one thing i've always love about IE is the fact that besides just providing a laugh, you guys have been increasingly just loving on people. this one is probably my favorite so far. maybe just because i'm PMSing, but i'm big time crying over here.

Wow, that was one of the best Improv Everywhere missions. It was the anti-thesis to the funeral prank. Loved it and the couple genuinely appreciated it.

Good job Matty.

What an awesome idea!! I LOVE that they were also given presents, too. What a great gift to the unsuspecting couple and what a great improv idea.

I can just hear them in 5 years or so -- "and here's our reception. No, I don't know any of these people, but look how fun this was!!"

Thanks for sharing this.

It IS impossible not to smile! I'm a legal receptionist, and I just watched the video (without sound) and TRIED SO HARD not to smile so all the clients in the waiting room wouldn't know I was doing nothing at work. :)
