12 things I learned in Japan

1. How to get incredibly lost in the subways
teeny bite
2. It's hard to eat a burger the size of your head
drawing on our photos
3. You can take silly pictures in a photo booth and then doodle all over them
Cop on Bicycle
4. Cops look adorable when they're on bicycles
5. Eating at a restaurant barefoot makes me happy
Cheese!
6. Cheese likes to trick you into thinking it's candy
7. There are stores made just for Matty
Subways
8. The subways are so clean I could lick the floor and probably become healthier
Scented toilet paper
9. You can smell like a fruit basket with this scented toilet paper
Best playground ever
10. Playgrounds have colorful slides as far as the eye can see
11. Subway doors may rip off your finger and then you'll have to painfully reattach it back on
12. Everything is adorable

That is amazing! Ahah become healthier licking the floor.. I'm sure doctors didn't think 'bout it.

It's rude to be barefoot in Japan. I live here, I made the mistake too and now keep a pair of socks in my bag when I wear sandals.
It looks like you enjoyed it!

I've always been fascinated by Japan but thought the language barrier would be too much - and their social etiquette is so different from the U.S. I'd be afraid of offending everyone I came in contact with. Did you come across any obstacles like that? However I might risk it all just to go to a cat cafe! Lovely pictures. :-) -K

When I was in Japan I fell in love with the photo booths. I don't know if the fun was in the photo taking, the drawing, or the franticly trying to figure out what to do as a clock ticked down.
