1. How to get incredibly lost in the subways
2. It's hard to eat a burger the size of your head
3. You can take silly pictures in a photo booth and then doodle all over them
4. Cops look adorable when they're on bicycles
5. Eating at a restaurant barefoot makes me happy
6. Cheese likes to trick you into thinking it's candy
7. There are stores made just for Matty
8. The subways are so clean I could lick the floor and probably become healthier
9. You can smell like a fruit basket with this scented toilet paper
10. Playgrounds have colorful slides as far as the eye can see
11. Subway doors may rip off your finger and then you'll have to painfully reattach it back on
12. Everything is adorable

That is amazing! Ahah become healthier licking the floor.. I'm sure doctors didn't think 'bout it.
It's rude to be barefoot in Japan. I live here, I made the mistake too and now keep a pair of socks in my bag when I wear sandals.
It looks like you enjoyed it!
I love all the bright colors and "little" things! Very cute post!
great photos! japan looks soooo fun :)
I love your blog, it makes me always happy and dream of everything funny and nice. Therefore I want to give you something. It's in my blog http://kauniskameleontti.blogspot.com/2010/09/me-oh-my.html. My blog is mostly in Finnish, but there's a short translation in the end of each post :)
Sensory overload! But in a good way :D I think if/when I visit Asia I won't know where to look--so much to see/do/taken in. Hope you are having an awesome time!
Delightful as always!!!
seems wonderful. absolutely want to go some day.
So funny blog you have! I just discovered it!!!
Such a clever posting. I so enjoyed you top 12. You pictures are amazing and so tell the story.
Your adventure seems fun! May I know the exact places you've been? Perhaps I'll go there for vacation :)

i LOVE all of it! husband and i are planning an asia trip for next summer and japan is definitely on our list. i hope we don't get lost on the subway...
How wonderful! Japan is on our list of places my husband and I want to go. Fruit scented toilet paper...so rad.
I've always been fascinated by Japan but thought the language barrier would be too much - and their social etiquette is so different from the U.S. I'd be afraid of offending everyone I came in contact with. Did you come across any obstacles like that? However I might risk it all just to go to a cat cafe! Lovely pictures. :-) -K
Haha this was awesome! I love the Nudy Boy store haha! Looks like you had quite an adventure! :)

When I was in Japan I fell in love with the photo booths. I don't know if the fun was in the photo taking, the drawing, or the franticly trying to figure out what to do as a clock ticked down.
How awesome. It looks like such a fun place and so colorful!
how fun! i love that everything is colorful and that you can eat barefoot!!!
Oh my god, that burger is ENORMOUS! Lovely photos, it looks like you had an excellent time!

At first glance, I thought those scented toilet papers were fruit juice cartons! Now imagine drinking that! Maybe it's healthy and nutritious like the subway floor :)

I am new to your site! It looks as if you had an awesome experience. I personally love the cheese wrapped like candy and the slides. I am shocked at how clean it all is. My parents lived in Japan when they were first married. They have some great stories to tell!
Becca
